Our $99 trip fee covers a basic visual inspection and diagnosis—meaning we can identify many common issues without using specialized tools, equipment, or invasive methods. If further investigation is required (e.g., cutting into walls, digging, or using advanced diagnostic tools), additional charges may apply.

Trip Fee Credit: The $99 trip fee will be applied toward the cost of any service or repair completed during the same visit.

Upfront Estimates: Your plumber will always discuss pricing before starting any work, so you can decide how to proceed.

Weather-Related Fee Adjustments: During extreme events like a hard freeze, we may raise the trip fee to $225 for emergency repairs. This fee is credited toward the final repair cost and helps set realistic expectations for the complexity and cost of freeze-related emergencies.

Accepted Payments: We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. Third-party financing is available (subject to credit approval). Payment is due at the time of service.

Transparent Pricing: We do not charge the trip fee for remodel bids, re-pipe bids, water heater replacement quotes, gas line quotes for whole-home generators, or water softener quotes.

Note on Water Heater Quotes:
A free quote for water heater replacement does not include diagnosing an existing heater if you’re still debating repair vs. replacement. If you want a detailed evaluation of your current unit for potential repairs and a replacement quote, standard trip fees (and any applicable diagnostic charges) apply.​

For remodels (or any project involving multiple decision-makers), please ensure all key parties are available during the appointment to discuss design ideas and scope. We typically email a detailed bid within two weeks of your appointment date.

Landlords & Tenants:

Please note that a property owner must be present on-site at the time of the appointment. If the property owner is unable to attend, they must be available by phone to authorize any work. In such cases, payment for services will be collected in advance before any work begins. Failure to meet these conditions may result in rescheduling of the appointment or delays in service.
